How it works — operator side
One WhatsApp number
KartMetrix provisions a WhatsApp Business number for your track. Drivers save it once — then text it every time.
You manage slot availability
Mark sessions open or blocked from the dashboard. The bot only shows slots you've opened. Walk-ins remain valid — the bot supplements, not replaces, your counter.
Bookings land in the dashboard
Every WhatsApp booking appears in real time on your operator dashboard alongside walk-ins — one unified view of the day's capacity.
Post-session is automatic
When you close a session in the dashboard, lap times are auto-sent to every opted-in driver. No manual step required.
Cancellations
Driver cancels via WhatsApp
Driver texts "CANCEL" anytime before the cancellation deadline. Bot confirms and frees the slot immediately.
Cancellation deadline
1 hour before the booked slot. After that, the booking is locked — slot stays reserved.
Operator cancels a slot
Operator marks a session closed from the dashboard. All WhatsApp-booked drivers for that slot get an automatic cancellation message.
No-show handling
Slot is auto-released 10 minutes after session start if driver hasn't arrived and operator hasn't checked them in.

Limitations to know

- No payment collection via WhatsApp — all payments are at the counter on arrival
